Early Public Responses to the Zika-Virus on YouTube: Prevalence of and Differences Between Conspiracy Theory and Informational Videos

摘要: In this paper, we analyze the content of most popular videos posted on YouTube in first phase Zika-virus outbreak 2016, and user responses to those videos. More specifically, examine extent which informational conspiracy theory differ terms activity (number comments, shares, likes dislikes), sentiment responses. Our results show that 12 out 35 our data set focused theories, but no statistical differences were found number between two types The shows users respond differently sub-topics related Zika-virus. implications for future online health promotion campaigns are discussed.
