摘要: Neurodegenerative diseases are characterized pathologically by the abnormal accumulation of pathogenic protein species within cell. Several neurodegenerative feature intranuclear aggregation in form intranclear inclusion bodies. Studies these inclusions providing important clues regarding cellular pathophysiology diseases, as exemplified recent progress defining genetic basis a subset frontotemporal dementia cases. The precise role bodies disease pathogenesis is currently focus debate. present review provides an overview diverse family which nuclear part neuropathological spectrum. In addition, current pathogenetic concepts relevant to will be reviewed and arguments for against protective presented. relationship pathological functional also discussed. Finally, analogy with inclusions, I speculate on possibility that may represent constitutive mechanism occurring neurons under physiological conditions.
