摘要: A high power continuous wave quantum cascade laser operating around 1900 cm−1 has been used to conduct Lamb dip spectroscopy on a low pressure sample of NO. The widths the dips indicate that linewidth is 800 ± 60 kHz and sufficient induce significant population transfer up 35%. While signals are symmetric at chirp rates, they become increasingly asymmetric as rate increases, further confirming degree transfer. In addition rapid passage structure signal observed after weak probe beam swept through line center. This sensitive both underlying hyperfine rovibrational transition, accurately modeled using optical Bloch equations.
