摘要: Cis-3-O-p-hydroxycinnamoyl ursolic acid (HCUA), a triterpenoid compound, was purified from Elaeagnus oldhamii Maxim. This traditional medicinal plant has been used for treating rheumatoid arthritis and lung disorders as well its anti-inflammation anticancer activities. study aimed to investigate the anti-proliferative apoptotic-inducing activities of HCUA in oral cancer cells. exhibited activity cell lines (Ca9-22 SAS cells), but not normal fibroblasts. The inhibitory concentration that resulted 50% viability 24.0 µM 17.8 Ca9-22 cells, respectively. Moreover, increased number cells sub-G1 arrest phase apoptosis concentration-dependent manner both lines, Importantly, induced p53-mediated transcriptional regulation pro-apoptotic proteins (Bax, Bak, Bim, Noxa, PUMA), which are associated with mitochondrial via loss membrane potential. triggered production intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) ascertained be involved HCUA-induced by ROS inhibitors YCG063 N-acetyl-L-cysteine. As result, had potential antitumor through eliciting ROS-dependent apoptosis. Overall, could applicable development agents against human cancer.
