摘要: Abstract Study objective Ethnobotanical knowledge is proving to be invaluable for drug discovery in the wake of effective prospecting from biodiversity. On other hand, escalating human pressure threatening endogenous flora. Situated at foothill Himalayas, Pakistan boasts rich floristic distribution. However, many lush yet imperiled regions this country has never been explored. It inspired us evaluate and document taxonomic composition, significance medicinal plants associated traditional District Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. Materials methods Vegetation growing Malakand pass hills, was studied data were collected using an open-ended questionnaire, addition interviewing local elderly, knowledgeable persons, herbal practitioners.
