摘要: Water and agriculture are intrinsically linked. is essential for crop production the largest consumer of freshwater resources. However, this link commonly ignored by economic models mainly because water use not reported in national accounts. Few regions have markets water. This paper describes new version GTAP-W, a multi-region, multi-sector computable general equilibrium model world economy. The GTAP-W distinguishes between rainfed irrigated introduces as an explicit factor agriculture. Moreover, structure accounts substitution possibilities irrigation other primary factors. has been used to study variety topics including: efficiency, sustainable use, climate change trade liberalization. technical description data features added standard GTAP model.
