摘要: The current study is the authors’ next work from perspectives of second law and economics an air collector having artificial roughness metal waste. In a previous study, heat fluid flow characteristics thermo-hydraulic performance were experimentally investigated. present paper, thermal efficiency, effective exergetic efficiency economic-based optimization are analytically appraised. influences relative pitch, height, area Reynolds number on above parameters examined. optimal to achieve best formulated as design plots for operation solar heater. weighted sum method used optimize objectives total annual cost. results reveal that too high numbers result in low unexpected performance. case, lower should be used, i.e. smaller height larger pitch. This because pressure loss penalty irreversibility quite large at numbers. An absorber plate 1.3 m2 was found maximum minimum
