摘要: The present study aimed at investigating whether increasing concentrations of glucose supply have a depressive effect on the mRNA abundance and activity key gluconeogenic enzymes in dairy cows. Twelve Holstein-Friesian cows mid-lactation were intravenously infused with saline (SI; n = 6) or 40% solution (GI; 6). For GI cows, infusion dose increased by 1.25%/d relative to initial NE 1 requirement until maximum equating surplus 30% was reached d 24. Cows receiving SI received an equivalent volume 0.9% solution. Blood samples taken every 2 d, liver biopsies collected 8 d. A treatment x quadratic interaction (P 0.25) treatment. In conclusion, hepatic are only moderately affected slowly supply, including translational posttranslational downregulation FBPase decrease PC possible consequences for enzyme activity.
