摘要: Abstract Bis-alkyltrimethylammonium dichromate, tungstate and molybdate complexes were prepared with cationic surfactants of varied chain lengths, C n H 2 +1 (CH 3 ) N + Br − ,  = 10, 12, 14, 16 18, by stoichiometric mixing the inorganic salts (potassium sodium tungstate) in aqueous medium subsequent isolation solvent extraction. They characterized elemental CHN analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Formation layered structures was supported X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements. The phase transitions compounds studied thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA) differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). low solubility dichromate colorimetrically determined. Monomolecular film behavior spread at air–water interface examined way surface pressure ( π )–area A soluble water. Their interfacial Gibbs adsorption micellization bulk investigated tensiometric, conductometric microcalorimetric techniques. size zeta potential micelles determined dynamic light scattering (DLS) correlation between hydrocarbon length/bivalent anions different physiochemical properties has been established.
