Travel behavior of low income older adults and implementation of an accessibility calculator

摘要: Given the aging demographic landscape, concept of walkable neighborhoods has emerged as a topic interest, especially during last decade. However, we know very little about whether promote walking among older adults, particularly those with lower incomes. Therefore in this paper we: (i) examine relation between trip distance and sociodemographic attributes accessibility features income adults Metro Vancouver; and, (ii) implement web-based application to calculate Vancouver based on their travel behavior.
