摘要: Given the aging demographic landscape, concept of walkable neighborhoods has emerged as a topic interest, especially during last decade. However, we know very little about whether promote walking among older adults, particularly those with lower incomes. Therefore in this paper we: (i) examine relation between trip distance and sociodemographic attributes accessibility features income adults Metro Vancouver; and, (ii) implement web-based application to calculate Vancouver based on their travel behavior. We use multilevel linear regression estimate determinants length. find that population traveled is associated gender, living arrangements, dog ownership. Furthermore, significant geographical variations (measured using trend surface) were also found. To better visualize impact behavior by personal profile location, implemented calculator generates an Accessibility (A)-score Google Maps API v3 can be used evaluate from perspective adults.
