Multi-site data collection for a spoken language corpus

摘要: This paper describes a recently collected spoken language corpus for the ATIS (Air Travel Information System) domain. data collection effort has been co-ordinated by MADCOW (Multi-site Data COllection Working group). We summarize motivation this effort, goals, implementation of multi-site paradigm, and accomplishments in monitoring distribution 12,000 utterances spontaneous speech from five sites use common evaluation speech, natural language.
