摘要: Several studies published in the last decade have pointed to use of enzymes and microorganisms biocatalytic reactions generate electricity. Enzymes living organisms can be used modified electrodes build so-called biofuel cells (BFCs). However, a deep understanding structure properties after enzyme immobilization is still lacking because they are immobilized solid state outside their natural environment. Thus, based on biological molecules nanostructure materials applied BFCs, these current topics shall reviewed here, prospects for future development areas will presented as well. Moreover, methodologies stability systems that result BFCs also presented. Finally, BFC power density catalyst support widely discussed this book chapter.
