EBSD analysis of eutectic solidification in Al-12%Si alloys modified by FSM master alloy

摘要: Al-12%Si alloys was modified using fine-grained structural material (FSM) as the master alloy. An investigation of crystallographic orientations eutectic colonies been carried out by electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). The morphologies Si change from lamellar to fibrous shape after 30% FSM alloy addition. coupling relationship in becomes stronger Al-Si alloys. Furthermore, misorientation angles colony HAGBs ( ≥15°) LAGBs (≤5°). misorietation inside decrease 60° primary α-Al dendrite and neighbouring Al have almost same orientation Keywords: alloys; Electron diffraction; Solidification; Modification.
