摘要: Amplification of a defined chromosome segment on the short arm 7 has frequently been reported in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where it is generally assumed that result over expression epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene provides selective pressure to maintain amplification event. We have used high resolution array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH) analyze events 7p GBM, which demonstrates that, fact, several other regions distinct from EGFR can be amplified.
