摘要: In the United States, remuneration packages of top executives are characterised by a strong emphasis on pay–for–performance and highly lucrative “upside”. There is much discussion possibility that executive pay practices will globalise in accordance with this pattern. This paper assesses whether such convergence likely to occur. It does so considering market–oriented dynamics could constitute “global compensation imperative”. also takes into account possible obstacles Americanisation pay, as legal regulation, “soft law” “culture”. The concludes brief series normative observations.
