摘要: The development of simultaneous resistance to multiple drugs in cultured cells occurs after selection for single agents. This multidrug-resistance phenotype is thought mimic human tumors treated with chemotherapy. Both the expression a membrane protein, termed P170 or P-glycoprotein, and cloned DNA fragment, mdr1, have been shown independently be associated cells. In this work, we show that KB carcinoma which express mdr1 gene also cDNAs encoding P-glycoprotein cross-hybridize cDNAs. Thus, codes P-glycoprotein.
