摘要: Specimens of arterial plasma and venous whole blood were obtained at 3–10 min intervals during the post-peak phase ethanol metabolism in healthy volunteers. The concentrations determined by headspace gas chromatography. This method had a standard deviation 0·28 mg/dl for 0·26 coefficients variation 0·43% 0·79% respectively. physiological from time-to-time, expressed as residual after fitting concentration-time regression relationships, ranged 0·43–3·7 (0·65–16%). time-to-time variations maximum when there problems getting an unimpeded flow through indwelling catheters. results do not support existence sporadic fluctuations or spiking alcohol profile post-absorptive state. Instead, this study underscores need to control carefully sampling way keep pre-analytical sources minimum.
