摘要: Background: Isolated ventricular noncompaction (IVNC) is a serious cardiomyopathy with generally poor prognosis. It characterized by the presence of prominent myocardial trabeculations and deep intertrabecular recesses, in absence other structural heart defects. This usually associated dysfunction, thromboembolic events, rhythm problems. Methods Results: article describes 11 children who have abnormalities IVNC. On admission, eight had complaints including palpitation, syncope, failure, bradycardia. Ventricular arrhythmias were diagnosed four children, sinus node atrioventricular conductance disturbances six Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome tachycardia one child. Three received an automatic implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD). patients died cardiac problems during follow-up period. Conclusion: Since many abnormalities, life-threatening arrhythmias, may be seen IVNC, IVNC should screened for arrhythmias. An ICD best treatment some these patients.
