摘要: The unialgal haploid gametophyte clones are frequently used for variety breeding and sporeling production in the brown seaweed Undaria pinnatifida because a single crossing of pair selected male female can generate sporophytic offspring with identical genotype phenotype. As seeds to be sprayed on collectors, detachment rate filamentous gametophytes is high comparison seeded spores. In this investigation, we report use parthenogenesis achieve same goal selection but higher efficiency. clone (Code: 06-8-1F) was induced produce parthenosporophytes. These sporophytes were grown up controlled system release zoospores. All zoospores generated into gametophytes. allowed go through second year confirm applicability means. third year, released from parthenosporophytes collectors over summer form. early autumn, (code: 5#F1-2-5M) cross collectors. When sporelings reached mean length 780m, they transplanted open sea longlines growing up. At harvest, average length, width wet weight adult 211cm, 48.8cm 373g, respectively. blades uniformly smooth without wrinkles both sides midrib, indicating top quality products. Amplified fragment polymorphism analyses confirmed genotypes offspring. results suggested that novel method could serve as an efficient alternative traditional technique U.pinnatifida possibly other commercial kelps have life cycles.
