Malaysian local governments’ role towards sustainable development focusing on knowledge transfer practices framework

摘要: Local Governments are facing very demanding and dynamic situation in development agenda when dealing with sustainable development. When the development’s activities do not start sustainability elements at Governments, negative impacts imminent it will cause hazards to society, economy environment. Hence, knowledge of needs be inculcated Governments’ practices. It shown stage planning approval since this is where begins. In relation that, research objectives identify constraints transfer practices study perceptions stakeholders involved regarding towards development, develop framework into Governments. Therefore, respondents 55 selected Malaysian for questionnaire, 17 interview 9 stakeholders. The results show that there lacking clear direction which bring unsupportive policy management, suggest need their capabilities handling overall result demonstrates staffs have low percentage below 30% acquiring participating related contributes lack on Hence needed as suggested analysis interviews. has developed a improve process delivery.
