摘要: Lacrimal sac tumors are rare and mostly of epithelial origin. We conducted a clinicopathologic study 35 cases nonepithelial the lacrimal sac. These included 13 fibrous histiocytomas, one hemangiopericytoma, lipoma, ten lymphoid lesions, eight malignant melanomas, granulocytic sarcoma, neurofibroma. Except for 9-year-old child with histiocytoma, all neoplasms involved adults (age range, 27 to 90 years). The most common initial signs symptoms were epiphora, chronic inflammation, or mass. A bloody nasal discharge bleeding from punctum occurred in patient melanoma. In none patients was clinical diagnosis tumor made preoperatively. Some can be life-threatening; therefore, early treatment important.
