摘要: Scientific and technological developments are propelling genetics genetic technologies into the public sphere. innovation is becoming more refined, resulting in an increase availability use of testing, other cutting edge technologies, including gene editing. These advances not only signal a growing trend towards precision medicine, but also provoke consideration protection information as emerging human rights concern. Particular ethical legal issues arise from disability perspective, potential for discrimination privacy violations. In intersection disability, this article highlights significant concerns raised science technology advances, consequences rights, particularly core concepts non-discrimination, respect diversity difference. On examining international perspectives, it looks at UN Convention on Rights Persons with Disabilities how may be used to guide best practice area. With acknowledgement historical abuses science, need maintain caution advancing persons disabilities indeed society whole.
