摘要: With rapid scientific and technological advances, the past few years has witnessed emergence of a new genetic era growing understanding make-up human beings. These advances have propelled introduction companies offering direct to consumer (DTC) testing, which facilitates provision such tests consumers, (for example, via internet). Although DTC testing offers benefits by enhancing accessibility technology, promoting proactive healthcare increasing awareness, it presents myriad challenges, from an ethical, legal regulatory perspective. As usually eliminates need for medical professional in accessing tests, this lack guidance counselling may result misinterpretation confusion regarding results. In addition, evident concern relates validity quality these tests. A further problem arising is or inadequacy regulation field. Despite legislative vacuum apparent Ireland, where there no concrete legislation. This article explores main issues with advent Ireland.
