摘要: A novel bacterial strain (B6) degrading high concentration of diesel oil [up to 2.5% (v/v)] was isolated from a site contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons in the state Chhattisgarh, India. The demonstrated efficient degradation for range alkanes (C14 C36 i.e., mostly linear chain alkanes). It identified be 99% similar Planomicrobium chinense on basis partial 16S rRNA gene sequencing and biochemical characteristics. efficiency optimized at pH 7.2 temperature 32 °C. GC analysis complete mineralization higher into lower within 96 h. organism also displayed surface tension reduction by producing stable emulsification onset stationary phase. multidimensional characteristics grow range, resistance various heavy metals as well tolerance moderate NaCl makes it suitable bioremediation soil tropical environment.
