摘要: Abstract In recent years, small-micro power generation was appointed as one of the proper solutions to tackle increasing energy consumption, while opening way distributed systems and micro grids. The most interesting solution for is ORC technology, however, it still needs further developments especially regarding design small expanders. A possible micro-expanders Tesla turbine, which a viscous bladeless turbine. This concept developed by Nikola at beginning 20th century, but went through long period indifference due run towards large size centralized plants. Only recently found renewed appeal, its features make suitable utilization in systems, like applications, where low cost components become very attractive exploitation residual pressure drop. present study develops procedure turbine applications. throughout optimization method performed evaluating losses each component introducing an innovative rotor model. Three configurations with different expander were assessed, order show performance potential achieved 64% total-to-static efficiency when working N-hexane fluid.
