摘要: This study aimed to describe the prevalence of access prescription drugs for elderly and associated factors in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina State, Brazil. A cross-sectional population-based household survey was performed a sample 1,469 individuals (non-response rate: 10.8%). The data were analyzed with Poisson regression, from two perspectives: medicines general through Unified National Health System (SUS). results were, respectively, 95.8% (95%CI: 94.7-96.8) 50.3% 47.7-52.8). Lower functional dependence, chronic illness, at least one medical visit previous three months. Access black or mixed race, younger age, lower schooling, income, more diseases, lack private health insurance, show that has been successful promoting universal Florianopolis.
