摘要: Nanoparticles of natural antimicrobial agents, volatile vanillin and non-volatile chitosan, were deposited in situ from an aqueous/ethanol solution onto a polyethylene (PE) surface using the ultrasonic method. The modified PE films comprehensively characterized terms their microscopic, spectroscopic, mechanical physical properties, presence stable organic nanoparticles on polymer was established. nanoparticle-grafted showed specific activity against Gram-negative (E. coli) Gram-positive (S. aureus) bacteria. led to total inhibition E. coli chitosan S. aureus. effect prepared active also examined food model, fresh-cut watermelons. Contact with film significantly inhibits fruit microbial spoilage, especially case PE. As they are surface-grafted nanoparticle form, agents fully utilized, allowing for significant enhancement effectivity reduction amount required. presented method is general interest as facile technique deposition nanoparticles, can potentially be applied feasible approach incorporation into matrices.
