摘要: Abstract The texture and microstructure evolutions of a triaxially forged Al–3% Mg–0.25% Sc–0.12% Zr alloy are described for strains up to 3 temperatures in the range 20–400 °C. A clear deformation develops is composed three symmetrical variants 〈 1 0 〉 ¯ component. three-dimensional spatially resolved crystal plasticity analysis also predicts same evolution. At room temperature, significant grain fragmentation leads substructure refinement weaker textures. However, at 300 °C above, more homogeneous intragranular rotations lead stronger textures and, ultimately, formation interpenetrating ‘orientation chains’ as result coalescence common orientations, new type microstructure.
