摘要: Abstract Marine natural products have played an important role in the discovery of novel biologically active compounds. Thyrsiferol was originally isolated off coast New Zealand from a marine red algae genus Laurencia. Several analogues having similar structural features been identified and their biological properties investigated identified. The array activities is significant includes: cytotoxic, anti-viral, anti-tumor activity, specific inhibition protein serine/threonine phosphatase 2A, apoptotic cell death human leukemic T- B-cell lines. Therefore, it interest to design develop methods that would make these compounds accessible laboratory through synthetic organic chemistry. This review will discuss endeavors used access thyrsiferol related analogues.
