摘要: PURPOSE To investigate the role of resistive index measured with transvaginal color Doppler ultrasonography (TVCDUS) for assessing radiotherapy response cervical carcinoma and to compare it magnetic resonance findings. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total 13 patients advanced stage (>IIA) underwent imaging (MRI) TVCDUS exams 6 months prior after radiotherapy. Pre- post-treatment indices obtained from central peripheral zones tumor were compared. These values also compared MRI findings control group. RESULTS Tumoral masses could be visualized in all B-mode treatment. Resistive before treatment 0.200.82 (mean: 0.52 ± 0.15), 0.70-0.99 0.81 0.14), respectively. Eleven out responded completely no mass was detected TVCDUS. Investigations performed areas flow within tumorfree cervix. residual noted 2 There a statistically significant difference between complete increased (P = 0.001). In masses, increase detected. The mean group 0.65 CONCLUSION Since there correlation indices, spectral parameters good alternative such an expensive modality as evaluation cancer
