摘要: Each memory item has a unique biography. The global outline of the narrative this biography, however, is shared by different items. textbook account charts ontogeny items as universal linear process. First new information encoded. Then it enters short-term persistence phase, during which prone to interference various types treatments, ranging from distracting sensory stimuli physical agents and drugs, collectively termed “amnesic agents”. period becomes gradually immune effect amnesic “memory consolidation”.
