摘要: Abstract The present study is an assessment of using Turel Kongreng (river mussels) as a source heterogenous catalyst in biodiesel production. After the calcination performed at 800 °C for 1 h, calcinated samples were subjected to characterization techniques such X-ray dispersive analysis, Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy and Energy x-ray analysis. characterizations showed excellent formation calcium oxide (CaO) same compared with CaO synthesized from other sources. A confirmation test newly conducted waste cooking oil loading 10% (wt.%), alcohol ratio 10:1, reaction temperature 75 °C time 60 mins. conversion rate 91.04%, which well within high band among all materials.
