Interactive lens visualization techniques

摘要: This paper describes new techniques for minimally immersive visualization of 3D scalar and vector fields, document corpora. In our glyph-based system, the user interacts with volume glyphs using a pair button-enhanced position orientation trackers. The may also examine an interactive lens, which is rectangle that slices through displays information on its surface. A lens allows display data in contour diagram, texture-based rendering.
