摘要: The tick-borne intracellular pathogen Anaplasma marginale (Rickettsiales: Anaplasmataceae) develops persistent infections in cattle and tick hosts. While erythrocytes appear to be the only site of infection cattle, A. undergoes a complex developmental cycle ticks transmission occurs via salivary glands during feeding. Many geographic isolates occur that vary genotype, antigenic composition, morphology infectivity for ticks. In this chapter we review recent research on host-vector-pathogen interactions marginale. Major surface proteins (MSPs) play crucial role interaction with host cells. MSP1a protein, which is an adhesin bovine cells, differentially regulated affects by Dermacentor spp. MSP2 variation selection ticks, contributes maintenance infections. Phylogenetic studies using msp4 msp1alpha provide information about biogeography evolution marginale: genotypes evolve under positive pressure. Isolates are maintained independent events mechanism exclusion allows one isolate per animal. Prospects development control strategies use tick-derived antigens discussed. marginale/vector/host described herein could serve as model other rickettsiae.
