摘要: Abstract Objective The stereotactic suboccipital-transcerebellar approach is widely regarded as technically demanding requiring substantial modifications of the standard methods thus often making a transfrontal preferable. In this comprehensive series we aim to present our experience with lesions brainstem or cerebellum using two systems. Patients and Methods period 2000–2015 overall 80 patients (mean age 43.95 ± 23.76 years) underwent surgery for diagnostic therapeutic purposes via suboccipital approach. 59 was performed Riechert-Mundinger Stereotactic Frame, Leksell Frame used in 21 patients. For both frames systems were without modification. Retrospective analysis intraoperative technique, achievement predefined surgical objectives perioperative complications carried out. Results series, proved be feasible Using either frame objective achieved 90.0%. A verified neuropathological diagnosis obtained 89.6%. Minor transient occurred 8.75%. There no surgery-related permanent morbidity mortality. Conclusion system favorable high success rate morbidity.
