摘要: Introduction: The different types of cancer represent one the main causes morbimortality worldwide. Classical anti-tumor therapy (surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy) has notably increased survival rate. Biological therapies, with selective and frequently specific mechanisms action, are a relatively recent acqui sition in oncologic therapy; among most commonly used ones are: cytokines, monoclonal antibodies, tyrosine kinase inhibitors, mTOR inhibitors. nutritional metabolic adverse effects classical well documented literature clinical guidelines, which is not case for biological therapy. Objective: To review this field to detail an organized manner results obtained. Methods: Indexed technical data sheets drugs included families were revised through Spanish Agency Medicines Health Care Products until July 2013. symptoms signs theoretical action on status recorded. Results: each family described. possible them grouped, detailing differentiating tables easier more friendly-user consultation. prevalent side observed those related appetite, gastrointestinal tract, electrolytic impairments. Conclusions: associated therapies plenty occur frequency severity. It important know impact when using these preventing managing them.
