摘要: The Atacama B-mode Search (ABS), which began observations in February of 2012, is a crossed-Dragone telescope located at an elevation 5190 m the Desert Chile. ABS searching for polarization spectrum cosmic microwave background (CMB) large angular scales from multipole moments ` ~ 50 500, range that includes primor- dial peak inflationary gravity waves 100. focal plane consists 240 pixels sensitive to 145 GHz, each containing two transition-edge sensor bolometers coupled orthogonal polarizations with planar ortho-mode transducer. An ambient-temperature con- tinuously rotating half-wave plate and 4 K optics make instrument unique. We discuss characterization detector spectral responses Fourier transform spectrometer demonstrate pointing model adequate. also present measurements beam point sources compare them simulations.
