摘要: Abstract The construction and subsequent analysis of scenarios using energy systems models is an essential tool in policy making. This paper presents two descriptive for the development UK system to 2050, four decadal time-slices. scenarios, K_Scenario Z_Scenario, were modelled with use Department Energy Climate Change (DECC) 2050 Pathways Calculator. a scenario which fossil fuels carbon capture storage (CCS) are prominent power sector, while Z_Scenario focuses on renewables nuclear power. Both seek achieve UK's legally binding target 80% reduction GHG emissions from 1990 levels by 2050. Abatement achieved through numerous developments each including shale gas, hydrogen, additional wind solar deployment, expansion bioenergy (CCS). These must be driven policies designed pursue dramatic decarbonisation.
