摘要: Abstract For the past half‐century, dominant paradigm of oncogenesis has been mutational changes that disregulate cellular control proliferation. Parasitic causes cancer were first incorporated into this by suggesting mechanisms through which parasitism might increase damage, such as generation mutagenic compounds during immunological activity. The growing recognition molecular pathogen‐induced and difficulty generating oncogenic mutations without having large populations dysregulated cells, however, suggests pathogens, particularly viruses, are major initiators for many if not most cancers, traditional mutation‐driven process becomes after initiation. Molecular phylogenies individual cancers should facilitate testing idea identification causal pathogens.
