Formation of AuSb2 compound clusters by spontaneous alloying

摘要: Abstract The alloying behavior of antimony atoms into nanometer (nm)-sized gold clusters and that nm-sized has been studied through in-situ deposition experiments in a high-vaccum electron microscope. During experiments, were supported on carbon film was kept at ambient temperature. In both cases, vapor-deposited solute quickly dissolved the intermetallic compounds AuSb 2 formed. This indicates , melting point which is 733K, can easily be formed by simply vapor-depositing either onto or A possible mechanism to explain such spontaneous formation compound discussed.
