摘要: The high prevalence of childhood obesity has led to questions about the influence 'obesogenic' environments on children's health. Public health interventions targeting retail food environment around schools have been proposed, but it is unclear if they are evidence based. This systematic review investigates associations between outlets near and purchases, consumption body weight. We conducted a keyword search in 10 databases. Inclusion criteria required papers be peer reviewed, measure retailing obesity-related outcomes among schoolchildren. Thirty were included. found very little for an effect surrounding purchases consumption, some Given general lack association with mediating variables observational nature included studies, possible that weight result residual confounding. Most studies did not consider individual journeys through environment, suggesting predominant exposure measures may account what children actually experience. These findings suggest future need careful evaluation.
