摘要: Abstract Fire-retarding materials are essential in order to fulfill the various requirements our daily life. Here we present macro-porous self-setting aluminum trihydroxide (ATH) foams which were fabricated by a direct-foaming technique. Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) was used as surfactant. The microstructure of foam set immediately addition ordinary Portland cement. ATH obtained this technique have cell size range 50 180 µm and porosity 88 92%. Finally, fire retarding capability characterized TGA/DSC.
