Apoptotic signaling in salivary mucoepidermoid carcinoma.

摘要: BACKGROUND Mucoepidermoid carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor of salivary glands. Apoptosis plays an important role in organogenesis glandular structures, and aberrations apoptotic mechanisms associated with a wide array pathologic conditions. METHODS The immunoexpression proteins apoptosis proliferation was evaluated 40 mucoepidermoid cases. RESULTS Par-4, Survivin, MUC1, PHLDA1, Fas, Ki-67 were predominantly expressed carcinoma. FasL rarely expressed, Caspase-3 expression observed almost 50% SPARC low-grade tumors, lymph node metastasis. Expression Fas decreased better overall cancer-specific survival rates.
