摘要: Due to the wave of mergers that have taken place in USA, early 1990s could be labelled as a restructuring era for health care systems. The question whether an impact on organizational performance is still area interest services researchers. In this study, we examined impacts horizontal US hospital's technical efficiency before and after merger using longitudinal Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). findings our study illustrate do increase level efficiency. Constant returns-to-scale model indicated overall reduction input utilisation merger, compared variable model. This indicates role scale dominant source improvement inefficiency hospitals involved mergers, but not Suggestions future are provided.
