摘要: The contamination of different types shellfish by okadaic acid (OA)-group toxin esters is an important problem that presents serious risk for human health. During previous investigations carried out in our laboratory liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS), the occurrence a high percentage relation to total OA equivalents has been observed several species. determination these kinds toxins using LC/MS or other chemical methods requires hydrolysis step order convert sterified compounds into parent toxins, OA, dinophysistoxins-1 (DTX-1) and dinophysistoxins-2 (DTX-2). Most procedures are based on alkaline reaction. However, despite being critical within analysis, it not studied depth up now. present paper reports results obtained after evaluating process esterified form standard 7-O-acyl ester palmitoyl as fatty (palOA). Investigations were focused checking effectiveness palOA methanol solvent matrices matched standards. From obtained, no matrix influence was quantity converted always above 80%. analyses Spanish samples showed percentages ranging from 27% 90%, depending specie.
