摘要: BACKGROUND Restoring the contractile function to abdominal wall is a major goal in hernia repair. However, core understanding required when choosing method for outcome assessment. AIM To assess role of anterolateral muscles on patients undergoing repair by analysis correlation between surface electromyography activation signal these and torque produced during validated strength tests. METHODS Activation rectus abdominis, external oblique, internal oblique/transverse abdominis was evaluated two tests: Step: 1-A, isometric contraction dorsal decubitus; 1-B, lateral 2-A, isokinetic Biodex testing; 2-B, testing. RESULTS Twenty healthy volunteers were evaluated. The linear coefficient root mean square/peak data obtained from each muscle peak variable always <0.2 statistically non-significant (p<0.05). agonist/antagonist ratio showed positive, significant, weak-to-moderate oblique (Peak, p=0.027; square, 0.564). Surface results correlated positively among different protocols, as well with daily physical activity questionnaire. CONCLUSIONS There no examination measured instrument, except that does not directly represent generation.
