摘要: Abstract Approximate equations for the envelope of field-evaporated tips fcc and bcc metals, in a low index orientation, are obtained from data taken directly field-ion images. In all cases studied, surfaces represented by formally identical equations, involving two parameters. Expressions also derived thickness removed field evaporation at each plane region tip surface.
