摘要: Safety is a major concern for construction companies, as it source of substantial direct and indirect costs. In some countries, the rate total workplace injuries from activities can be high at least 50%. This undoubtedly serious matter warranting urgent attention. past decade, interest in nature 'safety climate' its role predicting occupational accidents has increased. However, research findings regarding relationships between safety climate other key outcomes constructs such behaviours are to extent inconsistent. Recent literature suggests that examining motivation may help provide better explanation on relationships. view this, authors this paper have developed conceptual model depicting four main constructs: Motivation, Climate, Behaviour. particular, hypothesises Climate mediating relationship Motivation The aim study presented was empirically assess proposed within context Saudi Construction Industry. To achieve questionnaire through critical review pilot tested with number management experts. A survey then administered Arabia targeting project managers, site engineers supervisors workplaces. total, 430 sets were distributed 265 valid responses returned. Based dataset, series statistical analyses been performed including basic descriptive analysis, Exploratory Confirmatory Factor Analyses well Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). results analysis support fully mediated Behaviour,
