摘要: Reinforced concrete structural elements lacking appropriate seismic detailing and built with plain reinforcing bars, subjected to cyclic loads like the ones induced by earthquakes, are particularly sensitive bond-slip mechanism. Though, existing studies on behavior of RC structures generally refer deformed bars. As a result, bars is not yet fully understood. In this framework, two-span beam collected from an ancient building structure, was investigated. The support loading conditions observed in-situ were simulated in test setup. displayed flexural failure damage concentrated three short plastic hinges. poor distribution evidences effects bar slippage mechanism behavior.
