摘要: A large number of existing reinforced concrete (RC) buildings structures were designed and built before mid70’s, when the reinforcing bars had plain surface prior to enforcement modern seismic-oriented design philosophies. This paper describes a series unidirectional cyclic tests performed on seven full-scale columns with bars, without adequate reinforcement detailing for seismic demands. The specimens have different steel details cross sections. further monotonic test was also carried out one an additional column, deformed cyclically tested comparison results bars. main experimental are presented discussed. influence bond properties column behaviour is evidenced by differences observed between response similar amount displacement history investigated.
